The last owner owned this corvette since 2000. He always had it garage kept and well maintained. We drove it about 2 1/2 hours home.
We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, sway bar links, power steering control valve, power steering hoses, master cylinder, complete carpet set, and much more.
The previous owner had the engine replaced with a crate engine. He also had the transmission rebuilt, the corvette repainted in base coat clear coat, and much more over the many years he owned it.
This corvette runs and drives strong especially with the crate engine and upgraded overdrive transmission.
The end of an era.. The 1982 corvette brought a close to the C3 generation of the corvette, and was the first year all corvettes were produced in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as they are to this day.
