Of the 689,571 Fords built in 1941, just 9,823 of the 3-passenger “Business Coupes” were made, making the model one of the lowest production Ford models of the year. Very few examples of this unusual design exist today and, of those remaining, many have become subjects of hot-rod modifications as that body style lends itself very easily to neat custom designs and the flathead V-8 engine is a great basis for higher-performance modifications. Our car has managed to stay very original over the decades with its flathead “V-8” motor and 3-speed manual transmission staying completely intact with no body or mechanical modifications save the custom twin exhausts system. Even the original radio is present with the car. Finished in gray beige with tan cloth interior, the car remains in excellent and very original condition throughout. Its local owner found the car 17 years ago in Arizona, a state known for providing rust-free cars due to its warm dry climate.
