Seller's Notes

When it debuted in 1970, the second generation of Chevy's Camaro became a low-slung, swoopy speedster that looked like a European exotic from almost any angle. To prove that point, take one look at this head-turning 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS 496 Tribute decked out in a fully repainted red with complementary dual full-length white racing stripes. Sporting a monstrous cowl-induction hood to go along with its strategically placed Z/28 badges, this F-body is one of a kind. Inside, a center console complete with cupholders separates a pair of bucket seats. A four-spoke power-assisted wheel sits just ahead of a six-pod white-faced gauge cluster. In contrast, an additional trio of auxiliary gauges is situated at the base of the console just beyond the T-Bar-style gear selector. An AM/FM cassette radio offers entertainment options, but none that will be any more fun than the monster big block under the hood. Under that aggressive cowl-induction hood, we find a massive 496 cubic-inch naturally aspirated V-8 engine. Topped with a single four-barrel Holley carburetor and an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, this big-block does away with spent gases via a set of long tube headers and FlowMaster dual exhaust. Power is routed through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission before reaching a ten-bolt rear. Polished fifteen-inch American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels are shod in staggered BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. HIGHLIGHTS: * Z28 RS Tribute * Full Red Repaint * White Racing Stripes * Cowl Induction Hood * 496 CID V8 * Holley 4 BBL * Edelbrock Performer Intake * Long Tubes * FlowMaster Dual Exhaust * TH400 Three Speed Auto * Ten Bolt Rear * Subframe Connectors * Traction Bars * Power Brakes * Front Wilwood Disc Brakes * American Racing Wheels * BFG Tires * Power Steering * Bucket Seats * White Faced Gauges * Auxiliary Gauges * AM/FM Cassette This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS 496 Tribute rides on a factory-style suspension, upgraded with traction bars and subframe connectors. Power brakes featuring Wilwood front disc brakes make this car easy to drive anywhere. If you've been thinking about adding one of these beautiful second-gen Camaros to your collection, don't wait another second. This is the car for you. Call today!
