This is one of the best restored R-Type Bentley's that you that you will ever see with the most desirable Big-Boot and Big Bore configuration in LHD with the automatic transmission. Starting life as a trials car for Rolls-Royce Motors of Canada, this Bentley stayed with a few long-term Canadian owners its entire lifetime. Over the last ten years, this R-Type benefitted from a gorgeous no expense spared restoration to the highest levels we've ever seen. Finished in an elegant light green metallic with a gorgeous tan leather interior, even the engine compartment has received a concours upgrade. The chrome and stainless steel have been refinished to the very highest standards. Being ordered new with the factory sunroof, automatic transmission (a rare specification in 1953) and left-hand drive, this Bentley has the desirable larger engine displacement and the larger, more balanced looking larger trunk design. This Bentley is complete with a complete set of small and large tools, the Owners Handbook, AM radio and about 130 pages of invoices and history documents.
