It was completed in 2020 and driven 2952 miles since. The beautiful paint is Montero Red base with five coats of clear. Under the hood is a .030 over, balanced and blueprinted 409 by Bill Kell Racing Engines in Chester WV. It's loaded with Ross 10:1 forged pistons and an Isky solid cam. On top are two Edelbrock carbs and Edelbrock aluminum heads. They feed into Doug's Ceramic-coated headers and a 2.5-inch dual exhaust system. The 409 sends its ample power through a 700R4 automatic transmission with a 2400 stall converter to a new US Gear posi rear with 3.70 gears. Tubular A-arms and a HD front sway bar update the handling nicely along with new rear springs, power steering, and power front disc brakes with hydro boost master. It rides on Cragar Street Star chrome wheels and staggered Goodyear touring tires. The all-new red and white cloth and vinyl interior features Vintage Air, Auto Meter gauges, Ididit tilt steering, and an AM/FM stereo.
