This 1966 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is finished in red and white over red upholstery, and it is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Laycock overdrive unit. Equipment includes a black soft top, chrome bumpers, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, fender-mounted mirrors, 2+2 seating, burl-wood dash accents, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, and bright interior trim.Originally finished in blue, the car reportedly was repainted in its current shades of white and red in 1999 during a refurbishment carried out under prior ownership. Features include a black soft top, fender-mounted mirrors, chrome front and rear bumpers with overriders, vent windows, and twin chrome exhaust tips. Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are equipped with two-eared knock-off hubs and mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A spare wheel and tire is housed in the trunk, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.The 2+2 cockpit was refreshed during the aforementioned refurbishment and features seating surfaces and a console trimmed in red upholstery with matching carpeting as well as a black dashboard and door panels. Features include roll-up side windows, burl-wood dash veneers, bright trim, Austin-Healey–embroidered black floor mats, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a wooden shift knob.
