We are very Intrigued to offer you this “One of a Kind” 1929 Willy’s Overland Whippet up for sale. The Exterior paint was finished in its Original Color of Grey and Black which shows very nicely. The Interior has recently been completely reupholstered. The Black and Red Cloth Interior looks very well done and adds to the Overall Appearance of the 29 Willy’s Overland Whippet. This 1929 Willy’s Overland Whippet was a Revolutionary New- Type car, different from anything known before. A car that combines the Advanced Engineering practice of Europe with the New and Improved standards of American Performance. A car that will travel at 55 Miles Per Hour in Perfect Comfort. That will pick up in 13 seconds from 5 Miles Per Hour to 30 Miles Per Hour. A car that will go 30 miles on just a gallon of gas. And remarks the most important light car engineering improvement in America. Its height of 5 feet and 8 inches high… which was not as tall as the average man. It provided more room and comfort than ever found in any automobile before. It had a High End Torque, and 31 Horsepower motor of small bore and long stroke. Measured test shows it will stop in 51 feet from the speed of 40 mph. Just unbelievable that this certain car had a total of 360,000 miles of road test before it was released into production. Here is a car that will do 55 mph. With the utmost ease of control. Nothing has been spared to the Engineers who designed this vehicle.
