This 2014 McLaren MP4 12C Sprint track car is being offered with just 8,469 miles on it. The exterior of this McLaren MP4 12C Sprint car is finished in Orange. Developed and optimised for track use by the GT racing division at McLaren, the 12C GT Sprint is built around the Carbon Fiber MonoCell chassis of the MP4-12C. Ditching some creature comforts and unnecessary systems in the name of weight reduction. Core 12C technologies such as brake steer and the active McLaren Airbrake carry over, and the 12C's Proactive Chassis Control (PCC) has been re-calibrated for the GT Racing environment, with provisions for fine-tuning it to an individual driver's preference. A fully adjustable, HANS compatible lightweight composite racing seat with six-point harness and an integrated fire suppression system. The FIA-Approved roll cage, central cooling radiator, onboard air-jacking system, and digital dash display are all pinch from the 12C GT3 race car. The powerplant is a 3.8 Liter Twin-Turbo V8 shared with the MP4-12C. Oil and cooling systems have been optimized for track use. The seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox is from the MP4-12C. The brakes are upgraded with GT-spec discs, and the 19-inch center-lock wheels. 2 Spare sets of Center-Lock Wheels and tires, McLaren claims the 12C Sprint car underwent more than 3100 miles of testing at circuits in Europe and the Middle East, in addition to extensive simulator test.
This 2014 McLaren 12C GT Sprint is not road legal and to be only used on the track. With that being said this particular vehicle will be sold AS-IS.
