GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this rare 1968 Mercury Park Lane Convertible for your consideration. Finished in eye-catching Crimson Coral over a Black interior, this Park Lane is 1 of only 7 produced in 1968 with special paint, making it an exceptional find. Powering this full-size cruiser is a 390 cubic inch V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The vehicle has been well cared for with frequent oil changes and several important updates, including new shocks and rear coil springs in 2022. It rides on stylish Ridler wheels (original wheels included). Also added in 2022. This Park Lane is equipped with a powered convertible top, power windows, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, and a spacious trunk with a full-size spare tire. Interior highlights include wood grain accents and an AM stereo. A Marti Report is included, along with numerous other features that make this convertible a truly special example of Mercury’s luxury offerings. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with any questions or for more information.

The Mercury Park Lane debuted in 1958 as the top-tier model in the Mercury lineup, designed to blend full-size luxury with performance and style. By 1968, the Park Lane had matured into a refined cruiser, offering big-block power, smooth ride quality, and upscale features to match its high-end image. The convertible variant added open-air motoring to the mix, making it an appealing choice for buyers seeking elegance with a sporty edge. With production numbers dwindling by the late '60s, well-preserved examples—especially those with unique options or special paint codes—are increasingly sought after by collectors and classic car enthusiasts.
