Description - What an amazing find - rare one of only 1200 sedans built for the final year of Packard automobiles! Just released from a large, private collection of 25 years, this Series 58L sedan features a fresh oil change, new belts, and a new battery. We drove this car home over 100 miles and she never skipped a beat - a wonderful cruiser at 60-70mph, and so quiet in town you wonder if she's even running. Power steering, power brakes, heater, dual exhaust, Packard/Studebaker 289 V8, Flight-O-Matic transmission and radial white-wall tires. Some wear on the driver side front seat, armrest, and some staining on the headliner are the only blemishes on the interior. Very comfortable and the original dash and gauges are beautiful - and they all work properly. Even the interior courtesy lights are working. Exterior appears to have been repainted at some point and shows well - chrome and brightwork also in excellent condition. Under the hood is clean and stock. Undercarriage is dry and rust free. Newer exhaust from the mufflers back. Trunk retains original trim and even the jacking instructions. If you want a super cool 50's cruiser that will stand out from the crowd, take a closer look at this Packard - you may never see another one again! Ready to go cruising (mileage may change as we are certainly going to spend some time behind the wheel ourselves!).
