The Buick Skylark was made in six production runs, for 46 years, over which the cars design varied due to changing technology, taste, and new standards implemented over the years. It was named for the species of bird called the Skylark. The interior features blue vinyl and cloth seats with pleated inserts. Additional equipment includes a blue dash, blue carpeting, AC, tilt wheel, and a push-button AM radio. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and an electric clock. The five-digit odometer reads 62,853 miles. It also features additional auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash for volts, oil pressure, and water temperature. And a factory 60-RPM gauge located just above the console shifter (not currently working). From the factory the Buick featured a black vinyl top and was finished in Blue Mist Iridescent (F1). The car was refinished in the same Blue Mist Iridescent, but the vinyl top was removed. It has fender skirts, front and rear chrome bumpers, parking lamps, angled horizontal bar grille, and rectangular taillamps. The chrome-finished 14 Rallye wheels are wrapped in 205/75R14 Vanderbilt All-Season tires with DOT of 2012. Equipment includes power brakes and power steering. The car now features a Buick 350 V8 (1241748) engine. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. It features an Edelbrock Performer 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor and TA stage one intake. Long tube headers with true dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Clean undercarriage, no rust present.
