The 997.1 GT3 RS builds upon the GT3 with a widened track, carbon-fiber rear wing, and distinctive RS graphics and bodywork. The side decals and stone guards were replaced, and paint-protection film has been applied to the front bumper cover.

Output is rated at 415 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential.
