Family Ownership History
This 1953 Ford F-100 has been part of one family’s story for more than seventy years.
The truck was purchased new by the seller’s grandfather in Ohio in 1953, where it began life as a dependable small-town and farm pickup. In 1958, the seller’s parents moved to Minnesota, and sometime afterward the seller’s father drove the truck from Ohio to join them there.
From that point forward, the truck remained in the family in Minnesota. For many years it was stored in the family Quonset building on the farm, preserved as an important part of family history.
Later, the seller’s father had the truck restored by a skilled bodyman, during which it was repainted in its original factory color to preserve the classic appearance it carried when new.
Today, the truck remains a rare example of a true three-generation family-owned classic pickup.
While many early trucks have lost their original character through heavy modification or uncertain ownership history, this F-100 offers something increasingly difficult to find:
- Known ownership history since new
- Multi-generation family provenance
- Authentic presentation
- Restored original color
- Desirable first-year F-100 status
- Ready to enjoy, show, or add to a serious collection
Now offered for the next chapter, this 1953 Ford F-100 combines collector appeal, honest vintage charm, and an irreplaceable family story. The seller hopes its next owner will appreciate not only the truck itself, but the history that comes with it.
Comes with original Arlen Ness unpainted saddle bags
