1978 Chevrolet Corvette

1978 Chevy Corvette Silver Anniversary Family heirloom. Between my grandfather, father, and now myself we have had the Corvette since the early 80’s. Unfortunately, life circumstances have changed and it’s time for me to move on. This car deserves someone with the time and resources to make her great. Vehicle starts on demand, runs and drives very well, and sounds like a good old fashioned hot rod. Car was built with L-82 350 Small Block, TH350 automatic transmission, FE7 Independent Rear Suspension and Sway Bars, B2Z Silver Anniversary paint, and Positraction. Also outfitted with the T-Top convertible style. L82 Specs, 9:1 Comp, 346/360 at .450 lift, Base Timing 12 degree at 900, 16in-HG for Vacuum Mechanical Updates: -Engine has been blueprinted and balanced -Carburetor swapped to Holley Sniper EFI (I still have the original Carburetor) -New Holley Fuel Tank and Fuel Pump for EFI -Replaced intake manifold; Low-rise, dual plane, Quadrajet pattern -New Aluminum radiator with electric fans controlled by Sniper EFI -New water pump, thermostat, and front belts -New Borgenson power steering conversion -New long tube headers and side exhaust pipes (Doug’s Headers) -SMOG and EGR deleted -New spark plugs, wires, and HEI distributor -New Tires Known work to be done given time, space, and resources: -Set Timing to ~12 degrees advanced (Currently set to 8 and runs very well) -Link up kickdown cable on throttle -Fuel gauge is pegged over full, unknown cause -Vacuum hoses need to be reconnected for front headlights and other accessories, not required but nice to have -Fluid change on transmission and rear differential -Brake pads and calipers Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 ** FREE Consignment Visit Our Site Today Easy To List Your Vehicle and Get it Sold
