The fifth generation of the Corvette by Chevrolet was built between 1997 and 2004 and featured the third generation of the Small Block LS engine. The C5 was originally intended to debut as far back as 1993 but looming financial problems and changes in staff delayed the cars production for another four years. This particular nice example has undergone a pretty large mechanical restoration and or upgrades in the last year and a half like oil pan reseal, new engine mounts, spark plugs, torque tube rebuild, rear axle half shafts, fuse box, cold air intake, brakes and rotors and a plethora of other items that also include electrical items that needed addressed. This Vette starts, runs and drives very nicely, the convertible top is in good condition as is the interior with an upgraded radio and a tidy engine bay with the only thing not stock is a cold air intake that was installed. The paint has some blemishes here and there but is still in good condition. There are no known needs at this time and would make someone a really nice modern day classic to daily drive or for use in a Corvette club. Receipts for recent work performed comes with the car as well as the original air intake, owners manuals and both factory keys/fobs.
