1988 Volkswagen Vanagon Camper

Very rare and unique van! This camper has undergone surgery from Grease Worx's and had a TDI Diesel conversion completed with a stage 1 build. Recent work was completed including a transmission rebuild, suspension refresh, and several other small odds and ends. Top is in great functioning order along with other system. Engine build: fully rebuilt 1.9112/AHU eng. including: 0.50mm bore, new ASV pistons, Rosten high performance rods, ARP headstuds, fully rebuilt cylinder head, new headgasket, new K03 turbo, new water pump, new oil pump, new bearings (rod/main/I-shaft), new seals/gaskets upper/lower. Base conversion cost of$13,SOO (adjusted for customer's prep work eng removal. etc). Transmission build: full rebuild/re-gearing by GTA including, rebuilt transmission with 1.08 3rd and .70 4th; limited slip differential (LSD), oiling plates, case/brg reinforcement Engine peripherals: high torque hybrid IDI/G60/WBX clutch kit w/ all new OEM Sachs parts, including pilot and T/O bearing, new/rebuilt Bosch starter, new K03/K04 hybrid turbo, new Bosch STD injectors; used TOI alternator (120A), used TDI AC compressor, used PS pump; misc. used/new TDI engine components (MAF, N7S, Nl8, IAT, oil press. switches, eng temp sensor, etc.).
