In the rear seating area, a roll bar adds safety in case of a rollover accident. The engine itself has only about 500 miles on a fresh rebuild. The 2-barrel carburetor has also been rebuilt, as has the 4-speed manual transmission-likely at the same time as the engine. The suspension is a classic four-wheel-drive setup: leaf springs with shocks, front and rear. 15-inch black-painted wheels with shiny center caps are wrapped in BFG All-Terrain T/A 32X11.50R15LT tires on all four corners. Stopping power comes from front power disc brakes and rear power drum brakes. For exhaust, a stock-style manifold connects to a single pipe running through a factory replacement muffler.
