The Porsche 928 was a sports-GT car sold by Porsche AG of Germany from 1978 to 1995. Originally intended to replace the company's iconic Porsche 911, the Porsche 928 attempted to combine the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury sedan to create what some Porsche executives thought would be a vehicle with wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult Porsche 911.-porsche-mania.com This 1984 Porsche 928S is finished with a black exterior and a coordinating black leather interior. Power for this 928S is provided by a 4.7-liter sixteen valve V-8 motor paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Currently the 6-digit odometer is showing 101,413 miles. This well maintained 928S is factory rated at 234 horsepower and 263lb-ft of torque, which provides plenty of power for this strong running V-8 to pull through the gear range with ease. This Porsche is the recipient of an older repaint that shows well with only some minor imperfections. The interior has been upgraded with reupholstered black leather seats as well as a Panasonic Stereo. Most noticeably the interior imperfections included warped door panels and cracks in the dash. This Porsche 928S is running on factory 7-hole alloy wheels wrapped with General 225/50ZR16 tires with a 2021 date code.
