This 1955 Willys CJ-5 served as a search and rescue vehicle in Idaho's Franklin County Jeep Patrol. It has been in the family since 1960 and a body-off refurbishment was completed in 2013. The project involved exterior and interior refreshes in addition to overhauling its 134ci Hurricane inline-four suspension brakes and drivetrain which has a three-speed manual transmission. Subsequently garaged apart from ~500 miles of driving the truck is finished in blue over tan vinyl and it has bright headlight bezels full metal doors 16 steel wheels and a white hardtop with tinted windows. This CJ-5 is offered with service manuals refurbishment photos and a clean Idaho title in its owner's name. Equipped with D-rings and a push bar the front bumper carries a shovel and a hi-lift jack while the swing-out rear carrier has a jerry-can mount and a full-size spare. The steel 16 wheels are mounted with 235/75 Maxxis Bighorn tires. The truck has unassisted steering and brakes and Cutlas manually locking front hubs. The low-back front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in tan vinyl and the cabin has a heater as well as bedliner-coated floors. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts the body-colored dashboard panel which has a 90-mph speedometer showing 512 miles on its five-digit odometer. The 134ci Hurricane inline-four was factory rated at 75 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque.
