Just arrived is this exceptionally powerful, feature-spoiled, NO-ACCIDENT, ONE-OWNER, NONSMOKER 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S!
''The Taycan represents Porsche's foray into the electric vehicle space, and it does not disappoint. The Taycan is a technological masterpiece that manages to deliver incredible comfort and effortless driving one moment and then, with the twist of a knob, world-beating performance the next. How one car can do both so well is a little baffling,'' Edmunds writes.
How Long Does It Take to Charge the Taycan?
Depending on the battery in the car, it takes 9.5 or 10.5 hours to fully charge the Taycan via a public Level 2 charging station or at home with a 240-volt power outlet. With Level 3 DC fast charging, you can go from 5% to 80% battery capacity in 93 minutes. A DC charging station with maximum capability can charge the Taycan to 80% in just 22.5 minutes.
How Long Will the Taycan Battery Last?
For the Taycan's battery and electric powertrain components, Porsche provides an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Its mileage equivalent is up to 79 MPGe combined.
With its odometer now reading 7,440, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the New Car Limited Warranty until September 2026 or 50,000 miles!
The Edmunds-recommended midgrade 4S adds all-wheel drive and has an output of 429 hp (522 hp in overboost mode) with an estimated range of 199 miles. [The Performance Battery Plus option increases output to 482 hp (562 hp in overboost mode) with an estimated range of 227 miles.] Larger wheels would only slightly reduce the range. It adds:
Keyless entry Adaptive headlights Adaptive air suspension (can raise or lower the ride height of the vehicle)
Here are some features of the PCP (Performance Battery Plus) 93.4 kWh battery option:
Capacity: The PBP has a total capacity of 93.4 kWh. Cell modules: The PBP has 33 cell modules, each with 12 individual cells, for a total of 396 cells. Cell type: The PBP uses pouch cells, which have a flexible composite foil instead of a rigid housing for the electrode stack. This helps to reduce weight and make the most of the battery's rectangular space. Power output: The PBP has a power output of up to 360 kW (490 PS) and overboost power for Launch Control of up to 420 kW (571 PS).
