This one hits it and gets it with a built 427! The custom chassis can handle it, the question is: can you? It is a good looker, too. You don't see many in white and with the polished wheels and custom interior; it stands out!
EXTERIOR: The body is straight as a rifle and fits right. It has a tall metal and cowl hood and spoilers. The bright white paint is polished like glass! It is dressed up with correct dimension black hockey stick stripes. The vinyl top looks like new. The glass was replaced. All the chrome and trim is straight and shiny too. It has the exterior trim package. The lowered stance sits perfectly on the highly polished 18 inch Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: The first thing you notice is the custom handmade 2 tone upholstery done in genuine leather. The sport seats are firm and supportive. The door panels, armrests, handles and window cranks are reproduction. Down on the floor is fresh carpet and embroidered SS 427 mats. Up above the headliner, visors and mirror have been replaced. In front of me is a new dash pad, the glove box area is mint. Right in front of me is a completely custom instrument panel with Sport Comp gauges and a polished billet instrument bezel. It also has a chrome tilt column with a Grant sport wheel. The factory center console has been retrofitted with a B&M slapstick shifter. There is a JVC stereo with kick panel speakers and 6x9s in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 427 has been boosted to 439 cubic inches and is making about 600 horses! It has all the best components: a steel crank, polished rods, forged pistons, solid roller Com Cam, roller rockers, Meloing oil pump, ARP fasteners, Clevite bearings, Pete Jackson gear drive, fluid dampener balancer and more. On top is a set of GM Performance aluminum heads, Edelbrock air gap intake and a Holley 750 carb and an MSD Pro Billet distributor. A set of Dynatech headers flank each side. Premium fuel fittings, braided lines and a fuel regulator were used. It is using an external vacuum pump to make up for the lost vacuum from the radical cam. It's dressed in some really nice looking cast aluminum valve covers and air cleaner that say Chevrolet. A big aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and an aluminum electric water pump keeps it running cool. Horns are hooked up, wiper motor has been replaced, it has chrome hinges and billet fender supports. Premium braided hoses were used for the transmission cooler lines to the radiator.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted gloss white, the weatherstrip was replaced. Inside has a carpeted floor with boxed and upholstered side panels. The Optima battery is relocated behind one of those panels.
UNDERSIDE: Complete custom suspension front to back. It has a custom subframe with tubular control arms, Ridetech adjustable coilover gas shocks swaybar and a rack & pinion steering. Frame connectors tie the front and back together to help prevent body twist. In back is a 4 link system with tubular control arms and Ridetech coilover adjustable gas shocks. Stopping power is provided with a Wilwood brake system that has drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels, 6 piston calipers in front, 4 piston in back. The fat exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers does make it all the way out the back. It has a custom fuel system, the tank has been modified with a sump, braided lines run all the way to the front, it has an Aeromotive fuel pump and filter. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity Melodin oil pan and a high torque starter. The aluminum ribbed flywheel cover matches t
