Introduction: $250,000 custom build! A skillfully crafted rotisserie restoration, Martz chassis, and stacked fuel injection plus a long list of creature comforts have this Mustang running at the front of the herd!
EXTERIOR: The body was lowered 4 inches and has a great stance. Several body modifications were made including shaved door handles and a trunk lock. Also, all the seams were filled in for an even sleeker look. The custom front valance looks so sharp with its custom made smooth split bumpers. The tail panel is also custom with tucked and smooth split bumpers. A set of Shelby style sequential LED taillights were installed, and man does it look good when they are lit up! The cowl hood and dovetail trunk lid really enhance the profile. The molded in ¼ panel scoops and see through hood are wonderful custom touches. Everything has been painted a gorgeous custom Vibrant Blue Metallic with silver stripes. It has all new glass including the Shelby ¼ windows. The chrome and trim was all replaced and looking sharp. The entire ensemble is rolling on a sweet set of polished mags by Hopster Wheels. They are size 17x8 in front and 17x11 in the rear, for optimal traction.
INTERIOR: Even the door jambs are custom with their lit up sill plates and wireless electrical contacts. The Auto Meter Carbon Fiber Ultra-Lite gauges are both practical and nice looking. There is a bunch of controls concealed in the custom made center console which helps things stay clean looking. It has an upgraded Flaming River polished tilt column and an aftermarket wheel with a nice fat grip. Top quality Mercedes style square weave premium carpet and mats with bound edges even behind the seats is nicely finished with carpeting and a custom speaker enclosure. The genuine leather upholstered sport seats have power controls and are very supportive. The roll cage is also leather wrapped to match.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A high performance 302 from the Engine Factory is making 350hp. It's a precision machined 302 roller block with a nodular crank, double roller timing chain, Comp roller cam, roller rockers and more. The Edelbrock aluminum heads have stainless swirl polished valves, heavy duty springs, and chro moly pushrods. On top is a super cool looking Fast EZ-EFI self tuning 8 stack fuel injection system. The engine is flanked by a nice set of BBK coated headers. Under the hood is full of polished aluminum parts plus the front of the engine has a billet runner system, polished alternator, and A/C compressor. The engine bay is all smooth fabricated metal including the firewall. The custom radiator support keeps things very neat and clean. The builder spent much time hiding wires and hoses. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Hit the power trunk release and inside you will see expertly reconstructed floor and massive wheel wells. You will also find the relocated battery and a fuel cell.
UNDERSIDE: Full frame custom suspension from Martz Chassis. Upfront is a completely reconfigured independent suspension with coilover adjustable gas shocks, a splined swaybar, and rack & pinion steering. This ties into an actual boxed frame that connects to the rear clip. In back is a 4 link system with tubular control arms, a panhard bar, splined swaybar and coilover adjustable gas shocks. Looking up at the engine everything looks fresh and clean. The Tremec 5 speed manual transmission has a Ford Racing clutch and a custom aluminum mount.
