INTRODUCTION: This is a genuine GT with a factory 390 and 4-speed, documented by the Marti Report. This is a highly desirable Mustang. It's been nicely restored and looks beautiful. I've heard more compliments on this car than what is typical.
EXTERIOR: This fastback design is one of the most desirable of all the Mustangs! This one's extra gorgeous, repainted in Gulf Stream aqua. The metallic is laid out evenly and it is polished to a wet glossy finish. The body is clean and straight, doors click shut and it has the optional louvered hood with the built-in turn signals. The C-stripe on each side gives it some added pop. The GT gives it fog lamps and GT emblems. The bumpers, passenger mirror, door handles, driver's mirror, taillight bezels, gutter trim were replaced. The weather strips were replaced too. The glass is original. It is sitting on new radial red line BFG tires and new 15 inch Magnum wheels, the tires are a little smaller in the front.
INTERIOR: Down on the floor it has nice fresh carpet that fits very well and the past part is the 4-speed sticking out of the floor. The seats are reupholstered and in back it has the sport deck seat that folds down flat. The plastic trim and moldings look very good, kick panels are new. The headliner and visors have been replaced. The door panels and armrests have also been replaced. The instrument bezels are new with shiny chrome, it is equipped with a factory tachometer and a clock. It also has a Ford AM/FM radio and down below is a set of new oil and temp gauges. The steering wheel is original and has some cracks.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The S code in the VIN tells us there's a 390-325hp under the hood of this one. The big engine was stuffed in there along with factory power steering and power brakes. It has its original chrome valve covers and air cleaner complete with the heat riser tube going to the snorkel. It does have an upgraded aluminum radiator with a correct shroud and clutch fan. The horns work, battery is bolted down properly. The engine bay is clean metal painted semi gloss black, the original buck tag is still attached which gives original codes and options. The underside of the hood is painted glossy like the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy. The weatherstrip and trunk mat was replaced. Inside is painted glossy and it has a spare tire. The rear panel opens so you have access to the interior.
UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension looks like it's been gone through, the bushings look fresh. It has dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and the quad GT tips going out through the valence. It also has factory disc brakes in front, drum in back and th e-brake cables are hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean and is equipped with a 4-speed transmission and original rear end with 3.25 gears. The floors have been restored and are all metal with no rust and then painted with the red oxide primer.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.
CONCLUSION: Some new owner will turn lots of heads when out shifting gears in this GT!
