Yamaha improved the fuel injection mapping for the 2015 model, smoothing out low-speed behavior and improving the overall ride, though some reviewers noted the suspension remained a compromise. The 847cc CP3 three-cylinder engine provides outstanding torque across the entire rev range, making it feel very responsive and powerful. It produces wheelie-inducing power easily. At a class-leading 414 lbs, the FZ-09 is very lightweight, making it exceptionally flickable and enjoyable to maneuver through traffic and on winding roads.
