This 1986 Porsche 944 is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and it was purchased by the seller’s father in 2017. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The water-cooled 2.5-liter M44 inline-four features Bosch engine management and was factory rated at 147 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque. The accessory drive belt and engine mounts were replaced in 2021, a replacement voltage regulator was installed in 2022, a new power steering suction hose was fitted in 2023, and service in April 2024 included oil and coolant changes and resealing the oil cooler.
Manufacturer’s literature, a repair manual, three keys, a rearview camera license plate frame and mirror display, and service records are included in the sale.
