Offered for sale is this 1979 Porsche 924 Coupe, finished in dark brown non-metallic over a black interior, powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine running power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, with 33,112 miles on the odometer as of this writing.

This time capsule example of the 924 is in concours condition. It is only on its second owner, who obtained it from the original owner in 2005. Since then, it has enjoyed multiple Porsche club of America national parade preservation class concours wins, as well as class winner for the Hemmings Concours d'Elegance in 2009, and was the subject of a full article feature in Hemmings Sports and Exotic magazine.

It has fully documented and meticulous service history, including the original window sticker, factory manuals, and delivery paperwork. Maintenance was performed first at Possum Hollow Motorsports in Phoenixville, then NLS in Coopersburg, then Phil's Automotive, all highly respected Porsche-oriented independent shops in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Special details include the one year-only ''snailshell'' transaxle which shifts flawlessly, and completely original paint except for a hood refinished to correct for cosmetic flaws in 2013. The interior always presents as new, including a dash completely free of warping or cracks.
