For More information on the Cayo unit, go to tincantourists.com/wiki/cayo. What we have here is a really nice set-up with what could be same years considering the Cayo C11 was built between 1970 and 1974. I would call this dynamic duo a running/driving project. The truck starts right up, idles nice, shifts nice and goes down the road exactly how you see it but will need some things to make it a suitable long trip unit. The truck has an exhaust leak, it is weaping oil out of the valve cover gaskets and smokes a little smoke upon start up. Brakes feel quite good and there is new rubber including a very heavy-duty rear tire. The camper is in very good unmolested condition with the exception of some wiring that the seller was in the middle of. I have not tested any of the inner workings of the camper but everything appears to be there. He also started polishing the exterior but only made it on one corner…Sure would look cool polished up. The truck has had a re-paint but appears to be all-original otherwise. This truck has some surface rust as you can expect but is not crusty or full of rot and is very solid throughout. This would be one heck of a project to take on and enjoy while doing it. We welcome any questions or inspections here in our Traverse location. Come check it out!
