The 2023 Kona Electric gets an EPA-estimated 134 MPG-equivalent in the city, 106 MPGe on the highway and 120 MPGe in combined city/highway driving. Those estimates are fantastic compared to other new electric vehicles on the market.

The Kona Electric comes with a 7.2-kW onboard charger. with Level 2 charging, it takes 9 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge the battery from 10%. Plug into a DC Fast-Charger, and you can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in about 47 or 64 minutes, depending on the capabilities of the charger.

With its odometer now hovering around FIFTY-FIVE, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until January 2028 or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
