The fourth generation of the five-series BMW internally known as the E39 was manufactured between 1995 and 2004 and would be an executive class of automobile which could be purchased in both sedan and station wagon. The E39 would was the first 5-series to use aluminum for all major suspension components. It would also be one of the very first vehicles to have side curtain airbags. This particular relatively low mileage example that has had just two owners from new, the first owner was a three year lease and the current owner has had it over 22 years averaging just over 3,000 miles per year and was primarily used as a secondary vehicle and airport car. This BMW starts and goes down the road very nicely, the body and underside are free from corrosion, the interior is in very good condition and a tidy trunk equipped with spare and jack. There are a couple small cosmetic flaws as seen with most 25 year old cars and a missing front BMW badge on the hood. These engines were relatively bullet-proof and have excellent longevity. There is a ton of life left in this car with all with working A/C and climate control. We welcome any questions or inpsections here in our Traverse City location.
