1980 MG MGB LIMITED ED

What we have here is a 1980 MGB LIMITED EDITION unrestored 36,283 miles from new MG Midget which has to be one of the lowest mileage examples on the market today. The MG Midget was built for nearly twenty years from 1961 through 1979 with only some small cosmetic and engine changes throughout the years. More than a quarter million were produced and almost 74,000 in the last year with the last 500 home market cars being painted black. The car was introduced at the 1979 New York auto show and was slated to have a production of only 5,000 units. However, 6,668 were produced during the two-year run. 1980 was the final year of the MGB, and to send it off in style, MG made only 1,000 Limited Edition cars There appears to be no rust in this car at all with the exception of surface rust on exposed steel on the underside of the car. The floor pans are perfect, paint is in very good condition with the only real wear are on the vent window seals guessing from age. The interior is in excellent condition along with a very tidy and clean engine bay. The convertible top is in good condition and it also comes with a tonneau cover for the passenger area. Original spare and jack also come with the car. This MG starts perfectly with the flick of the key and idles instantly with out any sputtering, smoke or vibration.
