This Trans-Am is a rare bird, one of only 7,500 10th-Anniversary Trans-Ams ever built AND ONLY A FRACTION OF THOSE (1,817) WERE 400 V8 4-SPEED CARS. Along with its special 10th Anniversary paint treatment, graphics, and wheels, this '79 Trans-Am is also a fantastic example, well-optioned with A/C (not cold), a working AM/FM/8-Track player stereo, T-Tops and more. Powered by the numbers matching original PONTIAC 400 ci (6.6 Liter) V8 that breathes through a "Shaker" hood intake and a 4-barrel carburetor. These were the first Trans AM's to be priced with a MSRP over $10,000. These cars only came one way and that was loaded. So every available option is there. Tilt, Cruise, Power Windows, Locks and a unique one year only Interior. These are the only 2nd Gen Firebird's to get a Leather Interior.
A real survivor here in mostly un-touched original condition which is really hard to find today. If you have been looking for one of these here is your opportunity!! The 10th Anniversary came "Completely Loaded" with every option available and this one still retains it's original tire, jack, inflator, radio and more along with some pretty important documents such as the original warranty registration, owners manual and documented miles on the title.
