1986 Volkswagen Scirocco

1986-1/2 Volkswagen Scirocco is black, over black leather and is powered by a rebuilt 1.8-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle (also rebuilt). New items include 15″ ECS alloy wheels, new 195/45r15 Toyo Proxes T1R tires, euro bumpers and headlights, a Techtonics header and stainless-steel exhaust system, and an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo. Work under current ownership included installing the rebuilt engine and trans, replacing the clutch, new Techtonics header and full stainless exhaust with a Borla muffler, new axles, ECS wheels and Toyo tires, 4-wheel disc brakes, new pads, ECS stainless brake lines, all belts and hoses, rebuilt fuel distributor, gas tank, fuel pumps and filters, new coil overs, strut bars, new battery (relocated to the trunk), new carpet, and many more parts and pieces. The plan was to daily drive this car in place of my truck, but I now work from home and no longer need another car. Two items left to do are fix the front driver’s seat and install a new headliner. The paint was done under previous ownership and looks good for a daily. Some minor paint work would make it more show worthy. Making room for a new project.
