The premiere version of the Esperante race car was the upgraded Esperante GTLM. Only 17 of the 26 were GTLM cars. Only 4 of the GTLM cars were convertibles of which Annie is one of the 4. Annie's history is as illustrious as her performance. Originally designated as a promotional vehicle for the Panoz GTLM brand, she was shipped to France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and later driven by actor and race car driver Patrick Dempsey in California.
