1987 Hummer Humvee Custom. Upgraded custom humvee project. Over $75k spent on this in total over the years, with receipts for a good portion of it. It has been updated to the 6.5L naturally aspirated diesel found on newer Humvees, with the 4 speed electronically controlled transmission not found on most surplus humvees. Full roll cage with custom removable aluminum top. Front spring upgrade for softer ride and leveling spacers. New shocks and brakes all around. The differentials were both replaced, and transfer case was re-geared to allow higher top speeds (80+ mph). Comes with dual voltage systems - primary 24v bank and dedicated 12v system for stereo and accessories. 200 amp dual voltage alternator. 24v electric pusher fans for additional cooling. Bed liner spray in interior. Includes the MRAP 24v route clearance light set. H1 Alpha brush guard, rear airlift bumper, front winch bumper, Rhino tire carrier. 37” military run flat tires on double bead lock steel wheels (tires can be found on the surplus market for great prices). Two stereo amplifiers with remote kill switch. 24v trickle charger attaches to the external slave port for easy battery maintenance. Comes with a ton of additional parts and I can answer questions in the future as they arise. Can be worked on by ordinary mechanics or yourself with a bit of research - resources are plentiful and parts are readily available.
