Here is one really cool antique piece. If you like these old-time vehicles, this 1929 Ford Model A Pickup would be right up your alley. It sticks to its antique roots-nothing flashy, nothing shiny, and nothing fast. The matte red paint job with black accents really fits the part, and the old-school wheels fall right into place. The wood around the bed is a really nice touch. The only things that look new on the exterior are the front grille and the wooden plank finished bed floor. To make this more modern-friendly, turn signals were added in the bumpers, and a third brake light was added in the rear window. This interesting interior has wooden door panels, a wooden headliner, and the same finish behind the bench seats-a pretty cool look. The vinyl bench seats are in good condition, as is the rubber floor, which makes for an easy clean. A steering wheel correct to the year of the Model A is in good shape, and the dashboard is in good shape as well. The tiny gauge cluster in the middle of the dash is period-correct, and everything else, as you would expect, is as plain as can be. In the engine bay sits a 201 Flathead inline-4 with a 1-barrel carburetor. The transmission is a conventional unsynchronized 3-speed sliding-gear manual. The rear end is a Ford Banjo, and the suspension is stock with an X-member that connects the front and rear axles for support of both the frame and the axles. Basic drum brakes are used for stopping, and 16-inch wheels are at all four corners, with 6.50-16 Coker front tires and 6.50-16 Goodyear rear tires. To keep things original, the exhaust is a stock factory replacement.
