Seller's Notes

1932 Plymouth PB 4 Door Sedan The 1932 Plymouth Model PB stands as a testament to the ingenuity and ambition of its era. Born from the fervent competition of the early automotive industry, this classic car emerged from the Chrysler Corporation's Plymouth division, ready to set new standards in value and performance. At a time when the Great Depression loomed over America, the Model PB offered a glimmer of innovation and hope. Notably, it was the last Plymouth built with a four cylinder engine before the company transitioned to six cylinder powerplants, marking an end of an era in its lineage. Thx metrommp.com For consignment, a 1932 Plymouth PB 4 door sedan with a title verified 119,569 actual miles. This is a case of old meeting new as this old body has paint applied with newer technology, a V8 that people in 1932 could only dream about, A/C, power steering, and an epic set of wheels.  Exterior A deep Merlot covers the car, setting the backdrop for some custom accentuation including an EKG like graphic on the side that begins purple and transforms into white. Sure, there's a pinstripe that encircles the car at the shoulder line, but it's the complex and artistic flourishes that really catch your eye and there's one on the D-pillars, under the rear window, and on the spare wheel cover which also has a custom graphic to the left. The arching fenders are connected by the running board and everything hunkers down over 15-inch chrome Cragar wheels with staggered size tires wider than anything available in '32! Let's step up front where the deco flying lady hood ornament surges forward, leading with her...intent. Let's remember her, because she will be seen again on the car. Speaking of bright spots, chrome and polished trim is excellent on the car with some blistering on the lower crease of the body serving as the only imperfections.  Interior Our leading lady returns, embroidered on each of the four door's mauve lower panels, under gray cloth. The window cranks leave a mark on some of the reverse opening doors, a perfect circle of course, and paint is chipped on a windowsill of one as well. Beyond that, they present themselves cleanly. The mauve and gray pattern continues on the bench up front and the rear as well and both provide ample space and clean gray carpet below. The robe loop is still in place for shawls and winter coats in back while a modern, four spoke gray leather wrapped steering wheel presents to the driver. The color keyed dash hosts a brass faceplate that houses Stewart Warner gauges and the original speedometer/odometer. Remember, old meets new! Our footwells are fully lined with mauve and gray and the gray headliner is fantastic and is home to an overhead console with an AM/FM/CD player.  Drivetrain Plenty of show behind the engine covers with a chrome filled 327ci V8 with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor over a Weiand intake manifold and headers. It's backed by a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission sending power to the Ford 8 in the back. The car runs on a 12 volt system. Undercarriage Clean underneath with minimal surface rust and dry conditions through which the dual exhaust travels, taking with it a pair of FlowMaster mufflers on the way to a chrome tipped exit. Brakes are noted as front disc and rear drum and suspension includes the popular Mustang II front and leaf springs in back.  Drive-Ability She's a looker and cooker and has a fantastic stance that makes the car manageable and dare we say, nimble on the test track. There's good power underfoot, a nice exhaust note, and good visibility despite the smaller rear window, two side mirrors help. All functions work on this Merlot Plymouth and we point our leading lady to the mall and the showroom floor. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Front passengers will feel like they're i
