This is a 1986 Volkswagen Golf MK2 2-door that has been swapped with a 1.8T 5V turbo engine from an Audi TT 225, and an Audi TT 5-speed manual transmission. Engine has been tuned to 260 hp. This car started life as a Golf Diesel coupe, with a 52 horsepower 1.6L diesel engine. Curb weight of this car is right around 2000 lbs. With 260 hp, this car is ridiculous. Car sits on coilovers, and has brand new Ronal Turbo 15x8 wheels and brand new ultra-high-performance tires (totally unsuited for winter driving) in an attempt to put the power to the ground. Front leather seats are from a VW Corrado. This car spent its life in a dry climate, and so the body is remarkably clean and solid. The paint is faded with lots of patina. I elected to keep the sleeper look, so I had the car treated with RestorFX, a professionally-installed clear coat system that seals in the current paint and look with a smooth clear coat finish. This car is perfectly streetable, and doesn't give away too much of what is under the hood to the average observer. I didn't built this car, nor do I know everything about it, but this is an insane little MK2 with 5 times the stock horsepower. The windshield is cracked and there is no radio currently installed. No wipers, but the wiper mechanism is included in the trunk. Garage-kept in Willoughby, OH. TEXT/call John 440 339 4341. www.willoughbycars.com (http://www.willoughbycars.com)
