1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S

Presenting a Bay Area local, final year 993 Carrera S with 26,769 miles. Its a well equipped, well preserved, and well documented example. The vehicle spent the first seven years of it's life in the San Leandro area prior to moving to San prior to being purchased by the seller from Claridges Porsche LTD in July, 2005 after which it relocated to Cow Hollow, San Francisco for the next 20 years. Carfax shows servicing at Claridges Porsche in it's early years (prior to the seller's acquisition), and under current ownership serviced at Sonnen Porsche/Porsche Marin. A mild exterior refresh was completed in 2020, by our San Francisco location in June 2020 to address a minor scrape to the left rear quarter as well as to correct other miscellaneous issues that had accumlated over the vehicle's life. Paint on the doors, valence, rear decklid we measured to be factory thickness. Invoices for both services and cosmetic repairs are present in the records, and photos of the vehicle prior to the 2020 cosmetic refresh can be found in the gallery. Tires show as-new with over 90% tread, however wear date stamps from 2016.The Arena Red paint shows well with minimal road wear. All panels appear to be original, and all seams and welds appear OEM as well. The undercarriage still wears a good deal of it's original cosmoline, and shows no sign of wet or winter weather driving. The Classic Grey Partial Leather interior is still supple, and shows wear consistent with the mileage. The dash, door cards, switchgear and carpets remain in excellent condition. Driveability is excellent with the clutch, gearbox, suspension all funcitoning as they should. Recent services as well as services performed in preparation for sale include a 30k service, spark plugs, paint correction, hood and decklid shocks, wiper blades, new battery, speedo repair, replacement Becker detachable radio faceplate, and replacement shift selector seal.The vehicle will be delivered with a master fob, maintenance manual, owners manuals, OEM toolkit, OEM Spare and Jack, and records dating to 2009.
