Sold by us a few years, just came back in a trade.
Excellent aluminum body and bonnet, new BRG over black paint (only repainted once over excellent original paint), very nice tan interior, Restall reclining seats, 3.5 liter alloy Rover SD1 V8 modified for increased power with a Weber Marelli 4 barrel carb on an Offerhauser manifold, wood dashboard, 5 speed transmission, LSD, Morgan factory alloy wheels with 205/60 VR15 radials, excellent weather equipment in tan cloth, excellent electrics. No idea of the horsepower but probably around 200hp. Offering fabulous performance in a car weighing not a lot over 2,000 pounds.
IF you have never driven a Plus 8, it is truly one of the great cars on the planet. The V8 is reliable, easily serviced (with the HUGE advantage of NOT having fuel injection like newer Morgans), smooth, flexible, and with those awesome Morgan classic aesthetics. Derived from the early 1960s BOP V8 (Buick, Olds, Pontiac). And identical to V8s used in Range Rovers, Land Rovers, even TVRs. So, keeping it running should be a snap. Even at your local gas station.
We know the car, put a good number of miles on it when it was last here. And having just undergone a lot of work, interior improvements, new paint, etc., ready for another forty years of enjoyment.
