2,057 miles
2020 Lamborghini Aventador Replica Shelling out big bucks for an exotic car is beyond most of our pay scales, so the fantasy is exciting but short lived when we see them at car shows. But replica manufacturers offer a taste of exotica for a fraction of the cost. In some cases, you might get a fraction of the horsepower and built in features, but retain much of the exterior eye appeal. For consignment, a 2020 Lamborghini Aventador replica with 2,057 miles on the odometer, but the true miles are unknown. This two owner car was built by Raging Bull replicas, this time using a 2006 Pontiac GTO chassis and drivetrain that produces a hefty 400 horsepower, only about 300 shy of the real thing! Exterior A little higher and a bit more narrow than the real thing but just as angular and we would argue, just as eye-catching, especially in this coat of bright yellow two stage paint. Gaping black intakes lead the way under the angular flush headlights and pointed nose while the side body contours direct air might side ducts under triangular units that would be the start of the engine cover on a Lambo. The tail is also spaceship-like with numerous vents with black mesh coverings, thin tail lights, a body width wing, and a wide, geometric exhaust pipe. The multi spoke argent wheels are 18-inch up front and 19-inch in back with staggered sized tires with late 2021 and late 2020 date codes. The black targa top follows a steeply raked windshield and the wedge shape is a streamlined study in tribute dedication. Imperfections include some orange peel in the paint, a crack in the paint, and minor curb rash. Interior Black plastic door panels are accented with yellow grain vinyl inserts and the requisite Aventador call out which is also found on the door sill plate in a different font. Racy bucket seats include gaps for a racing harness just below the Lamborghini patch affixed to each headrest and the seats are separated by a wide yellow and black center console with numerous buttons and several screens including one for the AM/FM/CD radio. The GTO instrument cluster has been made yellow here as has the passenger airbag cover, otherwise standard Pontiac/Holden here with textured black plastic and the GTO steering wheel. There's black carpet on the floor but in the back, a mock engine appears with yellow V12 engine cover along with some convincing piping.  Drivetrain Up front, yes front, we have the 6.0 liter LS V8, fuel injected and rated at 400 horsepower. It's mated to a 4L65E 4-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the rear axle with 3.46 gearing and limited slip.  Undercarriage Driver quality here with dry conditions and plenty of surface rust. The dual exhaust flows through stainless steel mufflers and then steel extensions are seen to reach the longer tail of the Lambo. Four wheel power disc brakes are on board along with front and rear independent suspension. Drive-Ability The doors open in the standard way and then upwards like the real thing so your cover won't be blown when you exit the vehicle. The seats are supportive and the LS V8 starts right up and we roll this tribute onto the test loop, turning heads as we go! Is there less visibility than a GTO through the narrow rear window? Well, sure, but that's the Lambo experience! Meanwhile, the car has great power, tracks straight, and is pretty good around turns too. We note the high beams not working but all other functions on board operate as they should and we roll this mock bull back to the mall. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. If you want an Aventador look, but don't have a half a million dollars burning a hole in your pocket, this replica might just satisfy that itch. And of all the chassis and drivetrains that could have ended up underneath it, we have no complaints about the '06 G
