245 miles
2006 Harley Davidson FXDB Street Bob Motorcycle H-D is known for producing no fuss motorcycles, but the Street Bob appears to have even less fuss than normal - or any passenger facilities. This solo look harks back to the postwar shed built creations of returning Yankee servicemen. Bored without Nazis to pursue, they cobbled together minimalist machinery to chase each other around on. This look was known as the 'Bobber'. Visordown.com, sept 2018 For consignment, a 2006 Harley Davidson FXDB Street Bob motorcycle with a title verified 245 miles, a stunning V-twin that is in near mint condition. Fresh out of storage, expect to have to perform some TLC before you ride off into the sunset. Exterior Setting it apart from so many other bikes, the overall palette of the Street Bob is black and that's depicted in the frame, chain cover, cylinder fins, clutch cover, and leather saddle. But the star of the show is the glossy double gas tank with a brushed aluminum style Harley call out and flat black plastic mid panel that houses the speedometer. A streamlined fender hovers over the front wheel while the rear takes a different approach and cascades over the sides of the wider tire. Both exhaust exit on the right, terminating at different staggered spots, and each shines with a mirror like chrome. Front marker lights hang from the handlebars while the rears flank the fender as normal. Wheels are chrome wire with 19-inch in front and 16-inch in back. Functionality Standard handlebar layout of brakes, lights, and other thumb controls are in place and the central speedometer also has a digital readout. Rubber coated footpegs fold up while stored and the single saddle is embroidered with the coveted Harley name, and all is in great shape. Drivetrain This bike utilizes an 88ci V-twin rated at 67 horsepower, fuel injected and tied to a 6-speed manual transmission. Dual exhaust begins with showy headers and ends with Screaming Eagle pipes. Suspension consists of hydraulic telescoping forks in front and coil overs in back while disc brakes are found front and rear. FXDB stands for Super Glide family, (FX), Dyna Frame, and Street Bob model. This nearly 20 year old bike looks like it just came off the Harley showroom floor and if you peruse reviews, you'll note it's regarded almost unanimously as a very nice bike. Here's an opportunity to get the one you couldn't afford in 2006, but is back to tempt you. 1HD1GX1176K316152 1-USA HD-Harley Davidson 1-Heavyweight GX-FXDB 1-88ci V-Twin 1-Regular Introduction 7-Check Digit 6-2006 K-Kansas City, KS Assy Plant 316152-Sequential Unit Number Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (that's more than 8 acres!).
