The 2023 Bolt EUV's powertrain features a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor that combine to make 200 horsepower, and it's paired with a single-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor's rapid power makes this EUV quick to pass and merge vehicles on the highway. It takes around 7 seconds for this Chevy to get up to 60 mph.
The regenerative braking system, which slows the vehicle when you lift your foot off the accelerator, uses the saved energy to recharge the battery pack. You can also slow the vehicle with the Regen on Demand steering-wheel paddle. The traditional Drive mode utilizes two-pedal driving, but a Low mode switches the car into one-pedal driving. In the latter mode, you can speed up and completely slow down the vehicle using just the accelerator.
