The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 S is Ducati’s flagship track-focused superbike, built around the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 that makes about 215 hp and a broad, race-bred torque curve. For 2022 it received meaningful refinements: revised aerodynamics with slimmer, more efficient winglets; a reshaped tank and seat for better rider support under braking; and updated power modes and dash layouts that mirror Ducati’s GP bikes. The “S†trim adds top-shelf hardware—Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension (NPX pressurized forks/TTX shock), forged Marchesini wheels, and a lightweight battery—sharpening response while trimming weight.
Chassis performance is anchored by Ducati’s Front-Frame aluminum design, a single-sided swingarm, and Brembo Stylema calipers on huge front discs, all tied together by a Bosch 6-axis IMU. The electronics suite is exhaustive and track-ready: cornering ABS, traction, slide and wheelie control, engine-brake control, launch control, and a slick quickshifter (up/down), all with smarter calibration for 2022 plus a clearer “Track Evo†display layout. A lengthened 1st/2nd/6th gear improves drive and stability on circuit, while the stock Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires and revised ergonomics make it friendlier to attack long sessions. Net: the 2022 V4 S is faster, more forgiving at the limit, and easier to ride hard—without losing the drama and precision that define a modern Panigale.
