The 993 Targa was based on the convertible bodyshell and featured a revised roof with a lifting and sliding glass center section as opposed to the removable top found on earlier 911 Targa models. This example is finished in Black Metallic and features a Turbo-style front fascia and a rear bumper cover without bumperettes along with Morimoto LED headlights and taillights, headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler with an aftermarket grille, and dual exhaust outlets. An H&R suspension kit with Bilstein dampers is in place, along with 993 Turbo brakes. Power-height-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather with tri-tone gray sueded inserts, and the rear seats have been replaced by a custom enclosure for dual Focal subwoofers. Carbon-fiber and suede trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with air conditioning, power windows, central locking, a short-shift kit, cruise control, a Sony digital-media receiver, and a Focal component speaker system. Instrumentation ahead of the suede-wrapped steering wheel has been fitted with red FVD Brombacher faces and consists of a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 68k miles. The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six was modified in 2022 with a twin-turbocharger kit that included an intercooler, a 0.4-bar wastegate, and exhaust-system adaptations. The battery was replaced in January 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a replacement six-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential that were installed in May 2023 along with a lightweight flywheel.
