1940 Packard Super 8 160 Business Coupe restomod/hot rod. This classic offers both elegance and attitude with it's ornate exterior and performance modifications. It has been thoroughly reimagined with a dark red exterior, tan interior with bucket seats, updated suspension, V8 engine, automatic transmission, power disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning and more. Power comes from a built 350 with a Holley carburetor mated to a GM 700R4 with a positraction 12 bolt Chevrolet differential. It's a big car, but this drivetrain moves it with ease and sounds as strong as it is. From what we've been told, the majority of the work was done in 2017-2018. The car has been driven 732 miles according to the new gauges. Our service in preparation for sale included an oil change, carburetor rebuild, brake fluid flush, new front brake calipers, spark plugs, spark plug wires, drive belt, radiator cap, fuel tank and sender. Most of this was just due to sitting in the garage unused in recent years. This vehicle is on display out front when we are open but stays inside at night and on the weekends, so if it's listed online but you don't see it, we probably have it inside. We can arrange shipping for out of area buyers. The purchase process here is simple, efficient and can typically be completed in less than an hour. The majority of our buyers are in NC and VA. We handle the registration process for all local and some out state buyers. Auto Focus has a $399 documentation fee and collects for taxes & registration in most cases. We urge shoppers to be prepared to buy and take delivery - arrange a ride, have funds ready, bring your insurance details etc. We no longer offer financing, we do not take deposits, we don't hold cars and we don't offer storage.
