Here's a car that was almost $100,000 when new and this well preserved example is barely broken in!    Exterior Like an inky dark sea, the Stratus Gray Metallic rich tone is accentuated by the 20-inch black wheels and if they're not to your liking, the car comes with the original wheels and tires. But look how the wheels and canvas top work to sandwich the gray is a stunning profile as red calipers peek through the spokes and the polished fender vent trim pops off the surface. The wind defying shark like front end is spectacular, the grille accented with a rim of silver, but come with us to the back of this car where the star of the show shines, a wide decklid over flush and contoured tail lights that hug the corner and then, the exhaust tips, like a pair of trumpets, take center stage, literally. The S-badge adds a spark of color to the exterior which, other than a single scratch, is essentially free of flaws. Interior We bet you were expecting monochromatic black inside? Well, surprise because here we have Brogue brown coloring the door insert and armrest and the fantastic, white stitched leather race inspired bucket seats. There's the slightest waviness to the leather at the ingress point on the driver's seat but hardly a demerit on otherwise perfect forms. A flat bottomed and ergonomic steering wheel presents to the driver with more buttons than a Joann Fabrics store, perfectly framing the large print gauges and digital screen ahead. The center stack cascades like a frozen waterfall with a screen displaying among other things the AM/FM HD radio with satellite, and A/C knobs and buttons, flanked by a brown leather grab handle for the passenger. Piano black dresses the center console where more buttons and a shifter of high quality reside. The floor, headliner, and trunk are all finished nicely and clean.  Drivetrain Completely shrouded by a branded engine cover is the 3.0 liter supercharged DOHC V6, rated at 380 horsepower and backed by a Quickshift ZF8HP 8-speed automatic transmission which routes power to the rear axle with 3.31 gears and limited slip. The bay presents as showroom fresh.  Undercarriage Spotless underneath with no rust nor fluids. The tunnel heat shields dress things up as the dual active exhaust flows through original equipment on their way to that epic exit. Meanwhile, four wheel power disc brakes are on board and the adaptive dynamic suspension is configured with double wishbones front and rear. Drive-Ability No complaints here as the Jag performs as if fresh, probably because it is. The cockpit is ideal and the power on hand is more than you'll likely need on daily commutes, but will surely be fun when you put your right foot down. Handling, braking, tracking, and of course, that exhaust note, all satisfying to the senses and all functions on board operate as intended and we return this feline phenom back to the mall. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.    It looks good, it sounds great, it even smells nice!
