The SUV should mirror charging times for the HUMMER pickup, which GMC says can add nearly 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging when using a super-fast 800-volt charger. Independent testing has shown the HUMMER EV SUV can recharge from 10% to 90% in about 2 hours on a DC fast-charger or about 10.5 hours using a 240-volt Level 2 charger. This is pretty speedy, again considering the HUMMER's super-sized battery pack.
The HUMMER EV SUV also offers a Power Station (or vehicle-to-load) feature, which lets you use the HUMMER's battery as a generator to power external electronic devices. You can even jump-start or charge other electric vehicles using this feature.
With its odometer now hovering around the THIRTY-NINE mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until October 2028 or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, its engine, transmission and drive axles will be covered by the remainder of the POWERTRAIN warranty until 2030 or 60,000 miles!
