1998 Toyota 4Runner

This 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 was purchased by the seller in 2023 from their friend, who owned the truck in Texas for over two decades. It is finished in Desert Dune Metallic over beige cloth and powered by a 2.7L 3RZ-FE inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes ARB bumpers, auxiliary LED lights, a 12k-lb Warn winch, a power rear window, 16" eight-hole alloy wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, a rear heater, a CD/cassette stereo, and a cold air intake as well as a sleeping platform in the cargo area with a sliding drawer with a Coleman two-burner stove. This N180 4Runner shows 279k miles and is offered at no reserve with a truck cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Texas title
The truck is finished in Desert Dune Metallic (1A5) and features ARB bumpers, PIAA driving lights, an LED lightbar, a 12k-lb Warn winch, a roof rack, a rear wind deflector, a power rear window, a receiver hitch, window tint film, mud flaps, and skid plates. A June 2018 entry on the Carfax report lists an accident involving front or side impact and notes “very minor” damage to the right front. Matte black 16" eight-hole alloy wheels feature bright lips and are mounted with 285/75 Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in patterned beige cloth and wear fabric covers. Amenities include a CD/cassette stereo, a digital clock, a rear heater, air conditioning, cruise control, WeatherTech floor liners, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. Some buttons are missing from the stereo.

The rear cargo area features a sleeping platform, window covers, and a sliding drawer with a Coleman two-burner propane stove.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 279k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The truck is powered by a 2.7L 3RZ-FE inline-four that has been fitted with a cold air intake. The catalytic converter and spark plugs were replaced in 2024, and the alternator was changed in July 2025.
