The Henrik Fisker-designed Z8 drew inspiration from the 507 roadster of the 1950s and features aluminum body panels over an aluminum spaceframe. The Alpina Roadster was produced for the 2003 model year after standard Z8 production ended. This example is finished in Schwarz II and features a color-matched removable hardtop as well as a black soft top said to have been repaired in 2013. Additional exterior details include xenon headlights with washers along with neon taillights and turn indicators, painted mirror caps, dual exhaust outlets, and front fender air extractors with BMW roundels. Paint correction and application of a ceramic coating were carried out in preparation for the sale, and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below. Staggered-width 20" Ronal wheels are mounted with 255/35 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires that have 2021 production-date codes. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and the Alpina model received softer suspension as compared to the standard Z8. Additional features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (ASC).
