Up for sale is a 1977 VW transporter. This is the last of my VW transporters. It was set up as a "tin-top" Westy with table, cabinets, sink, cooler and propane cook top. The sink, cooler and cabinets are still there, but the cook top and propane tank have been removed. The body is in very good condition for a 48 year old VW bus. If you know these vehicles, you know the rust rot is a major and usual condition. The bus has minor surface rust but NO rusted through panels. The underbody has been dry ice cleaned and looks brand new.
The good: Body and chassis are complete and solid with only surface rust. There are minor dings. Most of the "Westy" parts are there. Classic VW green. Clean title.
The Bad. Needs brake work and should be trailered or towed to its new home.
